Hunting Stewart Kilt

Thanks to all who replied about a Hunting Stewart Kilt that I was looking for.
I have ordered a new one from St. Kilda in the Cowcaddens in Glasgow (thanks Paul), it should be ready in 4-6 weeks.
I have always fancied that tartan and have one of the cheap Hunting Stewart kilts which is good enough for informal wear but the reason I wanted a new one was for my niece's wedding in July of this year.
So the wedding and reception are taking place in Glasgow University so it should be a good time in the west end of Glasgow.

I would appreciate any thoughts on what colour of socks that i should wear with Hunting Stewart, normally I have only worn white socks with my kilts as they are mostly dark in colour, but the hunting Stewart is a brighter kilt

I often wear lovat green hose with a sort of rusty red flashes with mine.

I agree that navy is a good color. Either red or yellow flashes/garter ties would look good with the overchecks.

Lovat green hose and red flashes will go well with almost anything.
