    Three Degrees of Separation

    Click #1- The Bugs Bunny cartoon link;

    Click #2- Bugs Bunny in Dixie;

    Click #3- The film footage of the 1914 reunion of Confederate veterans in Florida, featuring FM Ironmonger, my Mother's-in-law grandfather (and the youngest veteran present). I pasted the link into an email, and this morning I got a tearful phone call from her telling me how happy she was to see her grandfather again.

    Strange to think that next year it will be 150 years since the opening shots of the Civil War, and yet we can not only see film of survivors embracing at reunions, for many of us these shadowy images moving across the screen are our grandparents or great-grandparents and in some way they are still alive, still a part of us.

    * Borring part removed. *

    That being said, Bugs Bunny is funny, and I grew up watching those cartoons.

    There was also the one with Elmer Fuddstone, and the Barber of Seville parody. All good crazy stuff.

    "That's indecent!"

    I'm showing this video to my pipes, next time a reed goes wonky .

    Also among things we've probably always wanted to do to bagpipes...a classic Samurai Jack episode...in this video, it's at 2:06

    Since this has stirrred up so many fans, I was checking Amazon to find out the name of the book that's somewhere here which gives a complete list of all Warner Brothers cartoons with synopses and credits. An invaluable volume!

    Being from West Virginia, to me you can't top Hillbilly Hoedown!

    By the way, in My Bunny Lies Over the Ocean, it looks like the Scotsman is wearing Matt Newsome's single-tassel sporran.
