Like Zardoz, I'm too have slipped by being "honored" on that site. Or at least as far as I know...
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Too bad the guy on the left is wearing US Army tartan. He needs to wear about eight inches more.

I may just have to leave mine in the closet for a couple of weeks.

    And change my avatar.

    And have a drink.int:

Cookie with the UK is fine by me. As for our friend on the left... there are only so many words in the English language. We need to invent a few more to truly describe the horror here.

The Walmart kilties reminds me of this cartoon:

" Donald, you kilt is far too short."
" Well, Dougal, when I bought it 50 years ago, the kiltmaker told me it would last a lifetime, and so it will."

Let's see how quickly I can get this thread shut down, deleted, or moved to the penalty box...

Guy on the right is unusual enough to end up on that website...probably not just for the UK, tho. I think it's the Cookie Monster shirt that makes it a little chester, and therefore POWM fodder. With most other shirts, I doubt his pic would even be up there. The crowd digs it, anyway, and while it's not exactly "in the media", it's evidence of a UK being worn "in the wild" ...hey, Wal Mart is pretty wild.

The guy on the left...if that guy does indeed post here, I certainly hope he's calling what he's wearing a "skirt", because if he's calling it a "kilt" and wearing it like that, then he's posting on the wrong forum--yes, really, and before half the forum sends me whiny private messages, go back and read the text regarding the intent of this forum, and consider that if you think I've hurt your preciously delicate feelings and that I should respect others' individuality and points of view, please let me remind you that respect is a two-way street, and if you are walking around in that skirt and calling it a kilt, you are insulting and disrespecting a far greater number of people than I do when I suggest that you choose another form of crossdressing attire and descriptors. At the very least, if you want to wear a kilt, do it right, because every time you wear your kilt like a crossdresser, it reflects poorly on the rest of us. I certainly hope that guy doesn't post here, because the reason the crowd at POWM like that photo is because it fits squarely within the subject matter and intent of POWM.

Well now, that was much more polite than what I said about Adam Lambert, wasn't it?

CMcG, that reminds me of the kilt length guidelines...if your kilt is above the knee, you are a boy...if it is at the knee, you are a man...and if your kilt is below the knee, you are a liar!
