Very unique looking. How stiff is the tail used in the flap of your sporran?

The beaver tail itself is very flexible, I glued it to a piece of oil tanned leather
and rolled the edge of the tail to stiffen it.
the flap holds shape very well is still bends nicely

Very nice work, Joe. The pictures are clear, too.
Now I can’t wait to see what Tyger comes up with!

Thanks, but I have got to come up with the tail first! I have been through half of one freezer, and have that other half and the 2 others to go. Something tells me it worked downward in the chest freezer- it was a thin package and Carol usually does not pay much attention to the important stuff. She has her eyes on the beans, peas, etc. and wouldn't recognize the package (I distguised it). Sometimes feathers poke out and that gets her going a little....................

That reminds me...there's still a turkey wing out in the upright freezer that needs plucked!! It lived in my parents freezer all last year while I was in Afghanistan...and was sent home with me earlier this year. I guess since I'm moving in about two months, I better get to plucking...otherwise I'll just have to throw it away.

So how many PMs have you received with offers for a new home? I'll make my offer publicly...my birthday is in a month....and I am in the market for an informal day sporran of this nature!!
