I'm actually going to go the way English Bloke described above. It's on order regardless, but would the fly plaid be too much with the aforementioned jacket?
Also ordered a sporran belt instead of the chain at multiple suggestions. As well as a couple new pairs of hose to play with dyeing.
I'm planning on a black button-up shirt with a green or silver tie and charcoal hose with matching tartan flashes. Wearing the plaid will be up to what the rabble says!
