See, to me, looking at that Fraser Hunting hurts my eyes. Some of that may be that I've been working on the computer all day with Cub Scout stuff. Mostly I think it's my colorblindness though.

I like the "Revision" in post #8. If you were to border the wide blue stripe with red instead of black, I think this design would really come alive.

Are you referring to the Fraser Hunting that cavscout posted? My pics are in posts #1, #8, and #14.

Thanks for posting this. My wife and i sat down and decided to the same thing for the same reasons. Give me a bit more drive to get it finished

Yeah, mine also. The coloring in those images are screwy but you get the idea of the effect different pleating styles can make when you loose the vertical red, blue and green lines.

Ok, so after talking to my wife, and rethinking the palette I came up with something a little different. The sett is similar to what I had and the colors have really grown on me. The other colors did look more like a flannel shirt, which isn't to say I didn't like it. But I think I have a shirt that's too close a match to it already!

Hi, Gerald – perhaps this is because I love the colour blue, but I like this version a whole lot more than your earlier design.
That is not to say the other design does not have potential, but this one looks good from the get-go.

Mike

I kinda let this sit on the back burner for a while. I have a tendency to rush things if I don't make the effort to be patient. So I had another go. Let me know what you think.
