Yeah, waiting on the right fish. This is a much harder task than fresh road kill.
I hate to kill reds because they are residents here, they stay all year, stay in their own little neighborhood, and may never travel more than a mile from their nidus of activity, and you can catch them over and over. So, it is going to have to be a hemorrhaging no-doubt-about-it upper slot fish with good color (their color is highly variable and I want a deep bright copper one), and I guess I have had 2 of those in 4 years.
