    Good effort!

    I love the colour too! The most original since I saw a ginger bodhran drum made from the skin of the maker's dead Red Setter dog whilst visiting Traquair House!

    Be careful,building a targe is like eating potato chips ,you can't just make one

    I already have plans for 2 more... One more traditional, and I have a pair of bracers for my Ren Fest garb. I still have a lot leather left over from the making of those, and was thinking about making a dragon scale targe, too! Here are the bracers, so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about:

    You could build a geodesic dome house out of targes, Nighthawk.

    A targe wigwam of sorts... With fur on the inside...
