I bought one almost exactly like it from a charity stall a couple of months ago!

"Jimmy" is the nickname of the Black Watch for this "wee mannie":

Seamus or Hamish would be good choices though I lean much more toward Hamish.
What first popped into my mind when I saw it was "Angus."
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Sorry, Mike, but I have it straight from the source: the 2006 programme for the North American tour of the Black Watch & Welsh Guards specifically refers to the St. Andrew's Sporran badge of the old RHR as "Jimmy", and not "Andy". I'll see if I can scan that page and send it to you.
