Does anyone know anything about the company that produces the Wallace Collection clothing products? I am recently in receipt of a brand new Wallace Collection Argyle jacket/vest combination. I have owned a Wallace Collection Argyle jacket/vest in the past and was NOT satisfied with the quality. I had to reinforce the buttons, a pocket seam came undone, and it just felt cheap.... AND the label states the jacket was made in CHINA?? I paid $390.00 USD for the current jacket/vest. Do folks agree that this is too much for this item?

Perhaps the Wallace Collection produces different levels of quality that could justify the higher price of my new one (compared to my previous)?

Finally, can anyone suggest a good quality, UK (or US) manufactured Argyll jacket/vest? The Wallace Collection feels like a cheap knock-off.
