Santa ( me ) gave me a Cold Steel Scottish Dirk and a small addition to the Highland section of my library. . For the price, I am very pleased with the dirk. Excellent constuction and finish. I would prefer that the grip be a bit shorter but, all in all, I think it a nice example of a Jacobite style Scottish dirk.

Well, I'll have to raise a wee dram to celebrate his glasses. And he can raise one to mine!

Here's what Santa brought me: Highland green jacket/vest, and Robertson kilt. It arrived the afternoon before Christmas.

I got shirts(of course) and a really snazzy kilt-belt buckle. Oh, and a new dishwasher from my folks.

Captmac (Sandy Claus) and I bought each other a set of shuttle pipes we found on consignment at the Scottish Country shop. Can't ask for a better gift than that

Nothing kilt related but I got a hardcover 1rst edition Autobiography of Mark Twain Volume I - a massive book of 700+ pp.. I heard there will be Vol. II and Vol. III. For my wife I bought a bottle of Baily's Irish Creme among other things.
