Welcome
Welcome D-O-C. Please consider those green hose instead of the black ones. They will match better and won't look so unnecessarily sombre.
By the way, Teufel Hunden, your relatives may change their minds after wearing kilts for a few hours.
Best wishes to all brides and their lucky grooms.

There are many who have rented a kilt for a ceremony, vowing to never wear one again, only to order one for themselves a few weeks later.
Kilt on.

OK, my kilt pin (an Iain MacCormick brooch, see avatar) and hose (green, black and cream) have arrived, and Brandon at B&S has confirmed my kilt should be here for 01 March.
Anxiety level is decreasing....

Sporran, belt and flashes arrived from Tartanista, albeit a little strangely, they were sent "Tracked-Signature Required" but the package was dumped in our mailbox without a knock.

My better half went to the Post Office and talked to the supervisor about why the parcel from the UK had been dropped without a signature. (It was a mistake and the tracking has now been updated to Delivered.)
When she opened the parcel, so she could leave wrapping and label with him for follow-up, he said: "That's a sporran!" Turns out his family's Scottish and he'd been wondering about getting a kilt.
She's been on here reading with me, so she gave him XMarksTheScot's address, so I suspect we'll be seeing someone else new around here in not too long...

Charcoal grey tweed Argyll jacket and vest from Heritage of Scotland, check. (needs pressing)
Modified 2-1/4" belt by cutting the stitching to remove the plate catch for the standard buckle, replaced with 3 Chicago Screws to allow me to use my Pattern 37 chromed regimental locket buckle from my cadet days. Though I think I'll use the black leather keepers instead of the chrome keepers.

We all suffer from an insidious and incurable addiction. That said, welcome to the rabble.

Dale-of-Cedars, we need photos of your kit, otherwise you just dreamed the whole lot, cause it never happened. Even if it is accessories, we need pics
