    Looks like a fabulous night, you and your wife look great! What is this that you've done with the top of your hose in place of flashes?? I love it!

    Thanks for the compliments. Those are traditional garters, wrapped and tied rather than the modern elastic ones. These were hand woven by my wife on her inkle loom, with a decorative design. I don't often get a chance to wear them, but I like to with the castellated top hose.

    I can get more details from her on the weaving if you like, or take some close up pics.
