    Great Sadness

I've not met Alex in person, nor Ann, yet as a member of this forum we are all family. I've been away from the forum for a bit and missed Alex's sad news, so it is with great sadness that I have just learned of Ann's passing. Alex...my most heartfelt and sincere condolences in this time of sorrow. May God grant you peace of heart and comfort.

Since I have the musical ability of a rock, I'll instead raise a wee dram in honour of Ann's life and Alex's love of her.

Alex - I, too, will raise my pipes and play several tunes for Ann.

Well, it's actually 5 hours different, so 9:30 in Scotland will be 4:30 here, but I think, if she can hear us, that she will understand if we play a little later than the ceremony.
