Very nicely done. I got an alleged woodburning set when I was young, but for safety reasons (or so I assume), the 'pencil,' which came with a nice variety of screw-on tips and all, did not get hot enough to actually burn wood.

Thanks everyone. I think the cheap sets they sell are trash. I lucked out and was given a set from the 50's before safety was a big deal. The only ones I would buy now are the fancy sets like this one

Now that I'm back into it I may save for a new set the heat in seconds compared to the 5 minutes I have to wait now.
