I appear to be the latest newbie and reside here in the Shakey Isles or Noo Zealand to our US cousins. I have been wearing the kilt for the past year although not continually and have just had a 16oz kilt made in the henderson modern tartan by Annie Littlejohn in Auckland who is acknowledged as one of the best kilt makers here. What a lovely job she has done although with it being 26 degrees celcius and about a 100 degrees humidity lately I am not all that keen to don the 'tank' just yet. Had quite a bit of fun securing a seal skin day and dress sporran from various points around the world.Isn't the internet a great tool.Lots of opportunities to accesorise with a kilt too.
I look forward to being a member.
