Just A Guess....
I did some internet sleuthing, using the available clues herein and found this nugget:
"The crowd only got louder Wednesday as some pounded drums, others played bagpipes, and many chanted, (rest deleted to stay apolitical)...." I am wondering if this occured in Madison, WI and whether I am getting warm?

As to political issues here, I think that most of us would agree that whatever your position, if you are sincere and your reasons are good, then you are in the right...we may agree to disagree but, as the fella said, we will defend to the death your right to say it.
...but maybe just saying that is political...
