    I consider the "tank" a HAND SEWN kilt. Its VERY easy to see the difference between an 8 yard hand sewn kilt and an inexpensive "kilt-like" garment if you look around at highland games.

    Course - the intense desire to own a hand sewn 8 yard wool kilt can become most addictive...top of the line....perfect...beautiful....

    They're actually less expensive than most guess - IF they are purchased direct from a kiltmaker, who's name you know and who you talk directly with, rather than from a middleman.

    Many kiltmakers have a two step payment process. All hand sewn kiltmakers know the mills and can find your desired tartan for you.

    Step up. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.
