Since you are displaying a shield as your profile picture, I thought I would ask whether you are closely related to the clan chief. If not, you should probably use a different picture – the tartan would be fine, or a metallic clan crest badge. But only the chief owns the chiefly coat of arms, and other clan members have to bear variations on it if they bear arms at all.
