    You know, I'm making a Rob Roy style sporran and was going to fabricate some sort of elaborate "Y" shaped double belt loop contraption to allow it to hang front and center between the belt buckle.

    Just off set the belt, never thought of that! I may have saved myself half an evening of sewing and cutting :P Plus with the great kilt the belt is mostly obscured anyway.

    Wear your sporran the way you feel most comfortable with it, I say it makes no difference. I wear mine both ways.
