By the way, this is the U.S. Air Force Reserve Pipe Band. Isn't (or wasn't) there also a U.S. Air Force pipe band that wears (or wore) the Mitchell tartan?

Congratulations on your daughter. The USAF Pipe Band has a long and distinguished history. I am proud to say that a good friend of more than thirty years was the first pipe major of the band, Sandy Jones.

Congrats! That's something to be very proud of. My Brother-in-law was also Piping with the Band yesterday in D.C. Thanks very much for posting the picture from the Capitol steps.
