Fencing with broadswords? I fence but I don't think I can get my Coach to buy us all broadswords, no matter how much fun it looks haha

I would love to learn broad sword officially. All our coach has is regualr foils and epees. I do wear padding and go at my friend with a blunted baskethilt and spikeless target, whilst he has a claymore. Its fun enough but not satisfying.
Is there a place to buy actual broadsword gear?
What will be, will be.

We use their rattan singlesticks currently. Their wooden wasters are supposed to be really superb.

Unlike modern fencing this is less of sport and more of a martial art. At least that's our aim. It'd be nice to see fencers take it up, especially those who work with historical rapiers, etc.

Look and search for "Broadsword Academy" and you may come up with something. There wasn't anything in our area, so we started one up by using the Cateran Society videos on Youtube. Then they found us via facebook and invited us to join their group and their president has become our mentor and will be coming down in August to hold a Broadsword seminar.
