Well... there are a couple options. For those planing on getting to the festival right at the beginning we can meet up somewhere on 'clan row.' The clan tables are generally set up just inside the main gate. (Note: If memory serves, the "Green Gate" on the map is the main get for the festival.)

Another possible location is the "Main Mall." There are usually beer stands, craft tents and a music stage set up in this area.
There is usually a music stage just next to the restaurant "Baja Blues" that might serve well as a meeting area as well.

In between Park Plaza (where the Highland Games are held) and building 10 would suffice as well. Relatively near the entrance, easy to find. Close to food and beer...

Any other regular attendees have any ideas?

OK, I am making an executive decision. X Marks the Scot Meeting Place will be between Building 10 and Park Plaza, near the doors to Building 10 at 11:30, both Saturday and Sunday. If you have a dandelion to wear in your cap, wear it.

I will wear the X Marks tartan on Saturday, so look for that. On Sunday, you're all on your own because I will be out on the field throwing heavy stuff.

Droid, look at the background file...the blue tartan that's the background for the forum. That's the X Marks the Scot tartan. Also, look at the picture at the top of the page. All you see is a blue tartan, knees and socks, eh? But the Tartan is the X Marks the Scot tartan.

It's a shame. Yes, I believe you were on the wrong side. We met up in between the throwing fields and the building doors. There are pictures to prove it that hopefully will be up soon. My fiance took a quick pic with my camera phone... I'll upload it shortly.
