These platform-style shoes remind me of Dr. Michael Debakey. A great surgeon, no doubt, who was not much above 5' tall. I saw him walking down the hall of Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX, in his surgical cap and gown along with a pair of white cowboy boots with six-inch platforms.
