Yes, she is, but you might just be "Scottish enough" for her. The rest of us aren't.

Possibly not; although born on the West coast my father's English so some might say I'm not 100% Scottish. We'll find out next time in Asheville!

Hello Neil,
Welcome to XMarks from the other side of the Atlantic in Norfolk, England.
You know, you could save your 'wedding kilt' for your wedding and buy something a lot cheaper now to get some experience. You can always tell your bride to be that you don't want to embarrass her on the day by getting it wrong.
Just a thought.
Regards
Chas

Chas
I did think about it, however I opted for a Black Watch tartan for the wedding as opposed to a Cranstoun (my family) tartan. Now my plans are to spend more money on my next kilt and for it to be Cranstoun.
Basically I did it the wrong way around; bought a relatively cheap kilt for the wedding and will buy a better one later in the year (we're paying for the wedding and with all the costs involved I couldn't put as much into the kilt as I may have ideally wanted).
I still get to wear it around the house

Welcome form the Upstate, SC! I was in Black Mountain last weekend; did the storm that hit there pass through where you live?
P.S. You'll like the Tartan Museum store and the staff. They also do great with internet sales. I placed an order on Sunday, and received an email on Monday saying that the order had been shipped.
