My wife and I stayed in Carmel and visited Big Sur for our anniversary this year. Big Sur was my wife's favorite by far, and it truly is stunningly beautiful scenery.
Best wishes to you, your wife, and your new weekly tradition!

If that does not get you feeling good, nothing will. Great scenery! Makes me want to go there. Thanks.

Nice!
Great photos Jeff! That is some beautiful country. I too like the day date idea.
My best to the wife and kids. Look forward to seeing you all at Pleasanton!
Cheers,
Brooke

Oh I'll definitely be at Pleasanton...for the duration....
In my capacity as "fresh meat" and "young and able" as a new member of the Scottish American Military Society Color Guard (where the rest of the members are all 45-70 years old), I've already been wrangled and given notice of the time commitments required at Pleasanton. Apparently there are lots of rehearsals and opening and closing ceremonies each day. I'm planning on getting a room for the weekend somewhere nearby.

Great pictures, and it’s good to see your wife on her feet, Longhunter.
Maybe your wife is camera-shy like mine, but try to get a shot of at least the dog-ter’s face next time!
