This is Joker. My Fiance and I have adopted him, he was my friends dog who passed away last June 29th. He is a "Chihueenie"...a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix.

Here is Austin, one of our four (at the moment) rescue Cocker Spaniels. We also have two rescue cats. We have been working with the Oldies But Goodies Cocker Spaniel rescue for years and have hosted (and adopted a fair percentage) many very special older and special need cockers over the years.

sorry, no pics, but have a large contingent of canines. First, we have Chewbacca (Chewy). He is a seven-year-old Husky/Shepard mix, with the possibility of some wolf in the background. He was dumped on our front porch at six weeks of age. Next we have Soba, a Border Collie/Blue heeler mix. Taken from a cardboard box some guy had in a parking lot. The third dog is Puppy Girl, some kind of hound mix, she was the runt of a litter of 15, taken in by our neighbor at about 2-3 weeks because she was not getting enough to eat. We took her because our neighbor was not able to care for her. Then we have Dean, a Pekinese/Pomarainian, the only dog we ever bought $350 from a feed store. Then come Fremont, a Shihtzu rescued from the jaws of a German Shepard. And last but not least, we have Bear a pure bred Red Heeler, who could not fit in the three previous homes he was in so we took him in. We have our hands full with this last dog because he is a very high energy animal. At night all but Dean sleep with my wife and I, Dean sleeps with our daughter.
