    Since the common heath is native to Australia, you might have to contact someone there to help you. We have several members here who are Australian. Maybe one of them will know where to look for an artificial stem of the plant, or could mail you a dried specimen of the real thing.

    Common Heather is what you're looking for as MacDonald plant badge. Wikipedia is a little misleading on that one.
