Good work. These are exactly the kinds of examples my wife likes to see before I go acquiring ;-)

As for the tartan waistcoat with a tweed jacket or any other look I posted, I knew that not be everyone would be into ALL them. That's exactly why I wanted to post a few different variations for people to consider

From when I first got more interested in kilt wearing, Panache and McMurdo's
"1 Kilt, 10 Looks..." thread has continued to be a real benefit to me. I'm happy to give something back to the forum and, if this thread proves useful enough, I'd be honoured for it to be stickied like the one that inspired it.

    CMcG,

What a fine collection of "looks" you have assembled.

What I like best about them is that it is obvious you have injected your own sense of style/personality into each one. Most seem spot on to me and even the few I wouldn't myself wear I appreciate for obviously being your look, not some cookie cutter idea of what you should be wearing.

The kilt is clothing, not a costume and the man must wear the clothes not the other way round.

    Well done!

    Cheers

    Jamie

Wonderful photos, Colin! Thanks for sharing. I am quite sure your friend appreciated your help and knowledge of Highland dress.

    Good on ya mate!
