The British tailors apparently use actual measurements of the jackets, not the men inside them. IE if your actual measurement IS a 42, you might wish to have a coat that doesn't fit you like a wet suit and order a 44.

Well, it all looked great until I read the bit in the questions section about the seller not offering international shipping.
Looks like it's a 40R in the UK that will be the lucky one...

Unfortunately, the doublet I had my eye one was snatched up at the very last second by somebody with a faster internet connection than me (which is okay, since I had placed an order for a new regulation doublet just hours before this thread was posted!).
