I don't doubt for a second that Mandela's fellow said those words, but they have been around for a lot longer than that. To my certain knowledge some 70 years anyway and I cannot quite recall who it was that is reputed to have said it. Sounds a bit Churchillian?

It does sound like something Mr. Churchill would say, Jock. Regardless, it was a great line in the movie.

Unfrtunately the matches are being shown in the middle of the night here in Europe, I may stay up for the Scotland v England game, hoping we hammer them, particularly with misery guts, Martin Johnson in charge of the English

I see Scotland received a great reception when they arrived at Invercargill, with many kilted Scots and a piper greeting them

Well, I can't vouch for their playing skills, but I've read that the Scottish team sing very well...

    Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup!

Rugby union the best game on God's green earth. Hope Ireland can pull out all the stop's, rugby is a funny game, the world cup is anyone's guess. But I'd have to bet on the All Blacks or the Springbok's, The Wallabies or Wannabies (what the Kiwis are calling Eng A land because of the new black strip) just don't have it in them.

    Wannabies! hahaha, I like it!...

Funny, that's what we thought when the strip first appeared. I don't think it's really a wannabee situation though, I just think it's a marketing ploy to sell more replica strips at £50 a shot and attract custom from all the people who've been buying unofficial black England / Guinness supporters shirts from Cotton Traders for £25 less for the last couple of years.
