    Very good examples. I saw a lot of old lads wearing ankle brogues with their formal attire growing it. It's what they'd done growing up and in the military.
    I plan to get a properly fitter pair for myself at some point which I will have resoled and have into my old age.

    I'm also looking for ankle brogues for my formal (semi) kilt attire. In Norway we have a lot of snow in the winter and I think ankle brogues will be perfect for the kilted events through the fall and winter.
