I am happy she holds the ladder. It just seems the ladder work always happens when I am in a kilt.

With all the work the two of you put in to grow such a brood, I think she deserves a free "look up the ladder" kilt check once in a while. Should help keep things frisky.

She cares enough about you to hold the ladder, a good and true woman. I would be worried when she stops holding it, especially after verifying your life insurance policy is up to date.

You bet I did. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. For more than three decades, she has always been by my side.

Of course if I didn't post to this thread, she would come up with a "to do" list that included me working on a ladder.

Not that I don't always appreciate your choice of projects, dear. I just don't think I always need you to hold the ladder for me.

This may explain how there came to be such a brood!!
