Welcome to Xmarks from Amelia County Virginia. My Father's family came to the United States from county Tyrone area in the 1920s, so I've always considered myself to be Irish.That is until I was at the Irish American tent looking for information about my family, and was told, "you are Scottish".
"A day spent in the fields and woods, or on the water should not count as a day off our allotted number upon this earth."

Welcome from Chambersburg, PA. From Irish stock as well...Armagh, Tyrone, and Limerick, who settled in NYC in late 1800's and early 1900, "when NY was Irish" (words of the original Celtic Thunder band).
