Green and Gold
OK onto Kilt number 2. Got back from Jo-Ann (had 50% off coupons) and will be using what I think is called duck canvas. Yes I am aware that it is stiff, but this will be a utility, abused kilt (football game tailgating/attendance, triathlons, tough mudder, etc). In the wash you go.
Hunter Green, and Gold (but I think it is called Duck yellow?)
Using my knowledge from kilt #1 (a poly/cotton mix grey plaid) and going to incorporate UK, AK, and other styles.
Will make it a narrow front (#1 was a wide front) D-rings, variants of cargo pockets.
I know the material will be tough to work with, IE especially at the wasit, but I will be using methods from a traditional kilt and may cut out some of the pleating from the fell area to reduce the thickness, and have a liner hand sewn in.
