Two good friends play in the Castlemaine Highland Pipe Band. Not a competition band but highly sought after for ceremonial duties. On the weekend of 29 October they are due to do a play out in their new uniforms. The first since the 1950's. Their original kilts were made from tartan woven at the Castlemaine woollen mill.

Nice! I'm from Hamilton and played in a number of bands in the area, most notably the Burlington Teen Tour Band and the Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Society Band. With both groups I did quite a number of parades and I remember seeing and hearing the Ingersoll Pipe Band.
