Re: Disneyland in a kilt
When looking at the photos, I couldn't help but notice Amy had a happy expression on her face when a Disney character stood next to you but a somewhat protective expression when the Hawaiian Princess put her arm around yours!

Re: Disneyland in a kilt
Being born and raised in Anaheim, California eons ago (it cost $4.95 for a ticket book)
I remember when Disneyland had a "dress code" and for a time we couldn't get in with holes in your jeans or guys with long hair.
Thanks for the pictures. Feels good to see them.

I was at Disneyland just before Halloween too. I didn't see any kilts, just oodles of little girls in princess dresses and mini Jack Sparrows.

I spots kilts on a regular basis there, mostly Utilikilts, so those wearing traditional kilts really stand out.
LOL about your Bambi sporran!
Where do you work Richard?
As a native Orange County-ian, employment at the Mouse is pretty much mandatory.
I worked there in 1996 (Entertainment Art Dept) and also audtioned, unsuccessfully, for face characters (back in college).

Re: Disneyland in a kilt
I'm the manager (co-manager actually) of the artists in New Orleans Square and near Ariel's Grotto in California Adventure Park.
Entertainment Art eh? Did you know "Char"? She worked with us in "The Square" back around 1990, but around that time switched over to EA. I've seen her from time to time over the years. More recently she's been dressed in business attire, so she's evidently some sort of higher-up.
It's funny how people move around. We had one young lady who worked as an animator on Emperor's New Groove and Mulan and perhaps others, and in between her animating stints worked for us, and also worked as a face character portraying Mulan! How often would that happen: that one of the animators would also play the character she animated!
