I'm sae awfu' tempted!
Have always loved attending as many Ferintosh Burns events as I can but persuading my mate who would come if they were in January to attend in March might take a little more force!
I am gonna try to twist his arm!

It matters not it's in March Trefor. The Bard should be honoured every day. See you there then?

This is a really tough choice to make as this trip would cost as much as TWO 16 oz handmade wool kilts. What to do, what to do?

We'd both love to see you at the first w/e if you can make it Alex. Always enjoy meeting up with you.
Yes John, I hope to see you in March.
I should be in a position to firm up my plans for March later this month, I hope to be able to attend one of the Burns Suppers weekends and both of the Friday night pub crawls.

Dates now announced for the 2012 Hawick Reivers Festival which will be 23rd, 24th and 25th March.
This is a Renfaire and Border Clans event which marks the start of our tourist season.
I see that this is the same weekend as one of the Dumfries Burns Supper weekends.
Why not combine the two, stay the weekend in Dumfries and make a day visit to Hawick on the Saturday or Sunday, its only 53 miles.
Well that's my Saturday daytrip sorted. Cheers Alex.
