Funny story about weddings and nerves. When my wife and i married, we found out in the first several seconds of the service that we were both so nervous we culdn't look one another in the eye without laughing. I stared at the top of her head, she at my bowtie.

The nerves are similar, i think, to jumping into a creek on a summer day. You know it will be a cold shock when you hit the water, so you brace yourself but once you're in, it's great.
