Aye...hmmmm....a kilt woven from the wool of the Navajo churro sheep.....gotta be careful sneakin' around the rez at night "harvesting" the wool off the barbed wire and chapparal....."Don't shoot! I'm just makin' a kilt...."

Looking good Ron! and my grand kids are still in Fort Defiance... it's amazing what you can get the kids to do... when they think they are helping....LOL every piece of wool by every corral, fence, ect... in the St Micheals area could be yours....LOL

BRAVO!!! Even if that is the only DYI for you it is great, isn't it? Nice to work with your hands.
You'd be amazed how often I get told, "nice hat," or "nice tam." I often respond with something like, "thanks, I made it." I have had lots of interesting looks from, (wife looking?) pretty girls and older girls and grandma girls and guys and kids. I made one for the boy in the supermarket because he liked it and I could. Making them for those in the band who like it too.
