Hahahahahaha! Really? Is there another Scotland, because I am pretty sure that you aren't going to find crocodiles in the one north of England, or any where in the British Isles! An what pray tell is a "Scottish Kilt Bag"? If I hadn't seen this and been asked, I would have immediately said "sporran", but this changes things.

Not going to lie... If it were a couple of inches bigger, I might go for it.

It seems like I remember MacLowlife having made one.

MacBug is right: I took the "head-on" flap from one of the fairly common souvenir crocodile bags and attached it to a regular plain sporran'. I am oot o' town at the moment and can't remember whether or not the front feet came with the head.

It started out looking like this one:http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Childs-...item5648d695f2

I beg to differ with the post above which suggested that only Highland wear is subject to cheapskate make-do improvisations. Many a blues legend started out playing a homemade guitar. Who is the child of necessity, after all?

I seem to also remember BB King saying he learned to play the Blues on a wire wrapped around a nail in his front porch.

Hope you have an enjoyable evening out, MacLowlife.

not just o-o-t, now OT also...

That thing BB king was playing ( a wire wrapped around a nail, attached to the side of a building ) is called a diddley bow and it is not connected to Bo Diddley, AFAIK. And while I am off topic, I will say that I made my first trip to Trader Joes' tonight. I am in Charleston for a few hours, then back up the road to the wrong side of the tracks tomorrow. I have consumed too many TJ pecan cookies and now must rest.
