I have to confess a fondness for Harvey's Bristol Cream too!

    Above US$20 for a 750mL bottle, I never met a sherry I couldn't appriecate.

    Below US$20 for a 750mL, I haven't found anything good.

Point of reference, Graham's Six Grapes runs about $22/750mL up here.

Williams Humbert produce a good range of sherries, Walnut Brown and A winter's Tale are well worth trying

    Re: Any Sherry drinkers here?

I tried both Lustau East India and Bristol Cream today and thought both of them were excellent. For straight drinking, I have to go with the Bristol, but for the flavor of a good whiskey, I think the Lustau would be a better match. I'll use it when I get around to finally trying the recipe out.

    Re: Any Sherry drinkers here?

There is Pedro Domeq, which has some good oloroso and a golden. It's hard to go wrong with Harvey's or Sandemans oloroso or amontillado, sold almost everywhere and quality is consistent. There may a Mexican sherry. For some folks, there are the kits that produce a 'sherry' or madeira if you have the equipment.
