Seem to have far better flow and fit than Utilikilts, at a fraction of the price.
I didn't even notice the video before, so I went back and watched it. Now I absolutely need one. It should add about 3" to my verical jump. Seriously though, this should be excellent for hiking, camping, etc. I'm not a fan of velcro for holding pockets closed, but I can put snaps on when it wears out. For $60, this may be the best deal in a non-trad kilt. I wish it was available in coyote tan, but OD or multicam works too.
I noticed Scruffy had a USAK patch on his sporran. The kilt he was wearing is next on my list!

The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Dang! I haven't had a 40" waist since 6th grade. I was at 44" the day I got out of boot camp without an oz of fat on me anywhere except between my ears. Well, I'm glad the kilt is getting more acceptance and exposure.

Now that we have them making them, are they sticking with true sizes, or "normal" pants sizes like the rest of their items...

I'm certain they are taking about the same waistline as their pants. Watch the video, see how it's worn by their model.

I guess the joke was on them. I wonder if they will actually make any money at that price? I added my name to the mailing list.

I'm with you, Geoff; I'd jump all over one of these (especially in multi-cam), but I haven't had a 40" waist since grade school.

I got the same e-mail, but when I go to the link where they mention preordering I don't see how to do so. Are we just supposed to wait for them to send a second e-mail or just keep going back until the ordering link is made active? I sent an e-mail for more information but in case someone beat me to it and already has a response figured I would check.

My impression from the email is that they'll be sending out another to everyone who has given their contact info to ask if they want to order, and what sizes/colors.

On the right side of the 5.11 kilt page, below the grayed-out "Add to Cart" button, are "Name" and "Email Address" fields. That's how they want you to sign up. Since you got the first email, I'm assuming you already signed up. I describe the process here for the benefit of those reading this forum thread, who have not yet signed up.
