Fisherman Sandals for Summer

Well, I stick with Tevas. Even them fisherman thingies would be too hot around here.

There comes a time around here when even pushed down soccer sox are way too hot.

It is a stretch to wear just sandals with a kilt, but as mentioned, the HEAT dictates....or as Utilikilts says, Form Follows Function.....

And, I think it helps some once the legs get some tan to them.

I take comfort that most folks around here don't have a clue and if I wear Tevas with a kilt they just think that's fine.

McElmurry, I have the same pair of Teva's that I got in 1998. They're still going strong. I got a different brand in 1996, they fell apart after a couple of years so I bought the Teva's. Yeah, I don't wear them a lot, but I love those things for what they are...

Keens, with any kilt in the summer, I have Black, Green and playafied, they are good in water and desert and last forever.

After five months wearing the sandals twice a week the sole cracked just behind the ball of the foot. I took them back to Nordstroms and they gave me store credit which I promptly used on a new pair of shoes. Then I bought a pair of Cole Hann sandals on sale at another store.

The Seibels are nice looking but don't expect to get much mileage out of them.
