John, what's Dad's first name so that we may use it in prayer? Mine are on the way.
Every blessing, and thanks for including us.

Fr. Bill,
I'd rather not put Dad's name out there for everyone to read. He's a very private person to begin with (he'd be very upset with me for sharing as much as I have) but also works in law enforcement, as does my brother. That's also one reason I changed back from my real name to a more anonymous forum ID. (Another being that I'm a rather private person as well, even though I share quite a bit in some of my posts.)
Many thanks to everyone for your support. I'm sure it's helping. Mom left me a message while I was at work tonight. Dad appears to have stabilized. His right lung is no longer deflating and his O2 sats are at 94 out of 95. We'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out the results of the biopsy. They're hoping that maybe tomorrow they can remove the chest tube.

All candles lit, all fingers and toes crossed, and prayers quietly mumbled for good news coming, and better days ahead.
