I recognize that view. I'll be making the trip to Weaverville within the next couple of months. I'm debating whether I really want to do it on the bike, just because of that stretch to Reno.

It was POURING from Logan off and on all the way through SLC.
Then, like the clouds parted and it turned beautiful!

I wanted to do doughnuts on the flats, but it was still too wet.
Instead I did a weird trek with 2 t shirts for friends of mine. Dunked them in the water pools at the flats and will mail them with some salt. Took a picture essay of it all with the infamous Travelin' DRZ.
If you look real close at the picture at the flats, you'll see a little black toy motorcycle on the bed rail of my truck.

Awesome. What year is the Husqvarna? I just read an article that Steve McQueen's 1970 Husqvarna 400 is on display in San Diego.

I race modern off road bikes, as well....but have been on a hyadas for a while due to an achilles tendon injury.

My current vintage projects include a '59-'60 Cotton 250:

    and a silly '75ish little Indian 100cc:

But the most major "project" going on is moving everything out of all the various storage units, people's houses, including our own....etc...and getting everything sorted out and tidy into a 3800sqft warehouse. We also have a 1600 sqft shop where we intend to have just for working on bikes, not as a parkinglot, as it has been for almost 4 years.
    We'd done runt outta room.

Here's the day we got the keys (March 4thish):

...and about a month later (couple weeks ago):

...and here's the "Little Shop"....FINALLY with some elbow room to work!

'74. I LOVE that bike. Great for GPs, too big for me for mx. Never get it outta 3rd gear. LOL

I blew it up in a parade a couple years ago. It's now in "Husky Row" in the warehouse waiting for it's turn up to bat getting fixed. The green fork boots thingies are still green.

We raced with MAMA for about 6 years up until 2010.. Did a few District 7 and some District 13 as well.. Still have a lot of friends there and was considering racing last weekend for my Birthday , but the total mud bath at Budds creek changed my mind...Don't know much about the AHRMA to be honest with you.

Here is a pic of my bike. A 1947 Harley-Davidson panhead with green metal flake paint, a solo seat, ape-hangers and a sissy bar. What a ride she was.

and no, I didn't let my girl ride her barefoot

Sidecar Motocross just seems completely wrong. Which, of course, means I will do my best to find some way to get mixed up in this twisted hobby; even if only once.
