    I just did a search of images of MacPherson Hunting, and I know that online photos can be deceiving, but in nearly all the photos the red looks like a vivid hot pink-ish red (what I might call fuschia) rather than claret/burgundy/maroon.

    Batley's Lindsay Hunting has a lovely claret and two shades of grey, but it also features loden green stripes. Great looking tartan, IMHO, but because of the green probably not what you're after.

    Thanks! So many lovely tartans!

    And I almost forgot about Auld Scotland. What's odd about this tartan is how different it appears in different images: in some the grey is a pure clear pale grey, in other images it has an olive cast.

    In any case, this is an entire claret & grey kit would be perfect for my gigs!
