Great pics, Matt! Any more? Ha-ha! Scott looks fantastic! Ive seen a photo of David Pope wearing the MacMillan hunting in a Tewksbury kilt, very smart tartan! It especially looks good with claret hose.

    Well done,

How could anyone not stop by for a chat?

Quite right Matt, this is an extremely comfortable kilt, especially in hot weather, and I'd advise anyone looking for a "summer time" kilt to follow David Pope's advice and go with a heavy weight, 5-yard kilt. I'd also suggest that old wool bonnets can be dry cleaned with no adverse effect; the one I'm wearing in the photo is about 15-20 years old and for $3 at my local cleaners it looks as good as it did when purchased, wee moth hole excepted!

    Well done,
Actually Kyle, that hose/tartan combination is part of the required MacMillan uniform

Ha-ha! Quite right, Brooke! Well, the claret hose tend to look good with many different tartans, but especially the MacMillan hunting in the reproduction colours. What a fine looking sett!

    Cheers,

    Scott,

I showed my wife, Stephanie this picture of you and she is rather fond of your moustache! You look very smart indeed (love the tie and shirt).

    Cheers,

Kyle, that just reinforces what I've always believed, that Stephanie has exquisite taste! I'm usually not a short sleeve shirt guy but, with temps over 90° and having to wear a jacket during opening ceremonies and while going walkabout with the Duke of Hamilton, it seemed the only sensible thing to do. As it turned out I was able to avoid spending an hour on the dreaded reviewing stand, so only had to swelter in a jacket for the thirty-five minutes of the walkabout. (Note to self: must buy one of Matt Newsome's linen kilt jackets for next year's Greenville Games.)

Oh, and if you find yourself in the neighborhood on the way to OBX do stop in for a visit.
