Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I do indeed need a lightweight kilt for these temperatures.

I wasn't aware we had any local kilt-able activities. I wouldn't mind getting involved.

Google St. Andrew Society of Southern Nevada Facebook. They meet every 2nd Thursday. SASSN sponsers events like Tartan Day Dinner, Something-Scottish, Scotland in a Suitcase, Burns Night Supper, 51's baseball night...
Google Las Vegas Celtic Society for their website and Facebook page. LVCS sponsers probably the very best Celtic festival and Scottish games in the west, held annually about the middle of April.
Feel free to contact me via XMTS for furthur information.

Great! Thanks for the info. I attended the Games this year, but would like to do more with the SASSN.

Welcome from over the line in Page, AZ. Have a wee bit of MacPherson blood in me and have a USA Kilts Casual in MacPherson Hunting. Just got it out and ready to wear tomorrow on a raft trip down Glen Canyon.
Here's a pic of it closer to you up in the Virgin River Canyon.

Getcha one - you'll love it in the desert heat.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
