I know, but I'm pretty certain that I followed the instructions. There's a defined field to post the URL into, which I did, & then there was a choice of Save, I think it said, which I also did.
So, how do we attract the attention of the smart techie types around here? Hello...
(I need to find this out because I have several more URLs to offer, on other subjects.)

Here is the link I think you wanted to post of the shopping bag
http://www.nationalgalleries.org/sho...op/theme/1175/
To post a link, all you have to do is right click on the address, click on copy, then in your post, where you want the link to go, right click on your mouse and click paste. The link should then appear in you post. (hope this makes sense to you)

Ahh, that's easy. Somewhere on the message header I found a place to 'plant' a URL, which I never will bother with again.
So, I have a friend with a scary quote... but a friend, nonetheless. Sincere thanks.

I'm still note sure if you've actually visited the exhibitionor merely the shop online?

Did you notice that I listed four of the six works of contents (not all paintings) in one of my postings?
When you speak of the shot online..., would you state that another way for clarity, please?

I did notice but wasn't sure if they were part of the exhibition as most, if nt all, are normally on display along with several other fine portraits too.

Maybe the Gallery's secret goal is to sell those bags. Ha!
BTW, I see you're in Crieff. I remember 'meeting' your splendid market cross.
I had a notion that, through Facebook, I could post the image & text of each market cross from Small's book of 1900 (500 printed) for FB's posting for each burgh's landmark monument. There are 112. I couldn't make it work. Any recommendation? I love to share what I read, but I don't think I have the permissions to post to a burgh's site. Not keen on FB anyway. I just emailed Dundee's to them & they seemed happy; said they hadn't seen it or known of the book.
Be well,

Lucky for me I will be in Scotland this September. If enough good culture stuff turns up I may devote my second week to Edinburgh and not the Borderlands as planned. ;-)
I'm kidding, what Elliott would want to miss the borders?
But I am still going to make time for the Portrait gallery now!

Will this be your first visit, Adam? I'll want to load you up on reading, even before you go to the National Museum. If you don't mind sharing your intended itinerary, I don't mind typing like there's no tomorrow! Let me know...
